Every employee is company selected and trained by our master gardeners, certified hardscape installers and professional irrigation installers. Our employees receive ongoing, relevant education and training in a constant pursuit of knowledge and innovation.
Our Story
The history of our company name Benchmark comes from the many years before Paul Hahlbeck started the company in 1986. Paul witnessed a lack of respect, professionalism and quality in the landscaping industry and dedicated himself to creating a landscaping company that put the customer first - making them an extension of his own family. The term Benchmark became the foundation for the company's philosophy - based on the literal definition, "the standard by which others may be measured".
