Outdoor water features are another part of our hardscaping services (see also Outdoor Signage and Paver Brick / Retaining Walls). Outdoor water features bring a sense of elegance and interest to any landscape.  Benchmark Landscape Management has been building and maintaining waterfalls, ponds, and fountains for decades.  We blend stone with water!  By using natural field and river rock, outcropping and flagstone, gravel and other materials we create a water feature that will bring years of enjoyment and relaxation. 

If you are interested in a more formal look, a water fountain may best match your vision.  Using paving stone or pavers our skilled designers and craftsmen will build a fountain large or small as budget and space permit.

For a more natural look you may want to consider a pond.  We can create a pond for you in most locations, or take an existing pond and enhance it's appearance.  In water (water lilies and other plants) as well as border plantings of grasses, shrubs, and other materials will blend your pond with your landscape.  

After you have installed a water feature, Benchmark can maintain both the structure and its mechanical pumps and filters, but also maintain the plantings that have been installed.  Let our skilled designers work with you to create a water feature that you can be proud to own.

Note: Benchmark Landscape Management also does shoreline restoration.  If your property has lake or stream/river frontage we can repair or enhance your shoreline.  If you are having a problem with erosion or silting, we can stabilize your waterline.  You will have a more attractive and usable shore to enjoy.  Have you had muskrat or other animal damage?  We will repair the damage and can add stone or other products to stabilize your waterline and help prevent future damage. 

Is your shoreline being taken over by weeds?  We can provide and maintain the shore and near lake bed to help it resist unwanted vegetation. Our maintenance services will help you have the appearance you want, and allow you to enjoy the environment you worked to have.
